1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Atlas ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Atlas is a personal reflection and self-awareness tool. It allows users to record daily reflections, track moods, visualize patterns over time, and receive AI-generated insights. Atlas is intended for personal growth and self-reflection purposes only.

3. Not Medical, Therapeutic, or Diagnostic Advice

IMPORTANT: Atlas is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, counseling, or medical advice. The insights, patterns, and observations generated by Atlas are produced by artificial intelligence and are for informational and self-reflection purposes only.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or need immediate support, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.

Atlas does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition, disease, or disorder. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition.

4. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to use certain features of Atlas. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the reflections, text, and other content you submit to Atlas ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use Atlas for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Atlas
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Atlas at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Atlas is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atlas and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of Atlas after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
